The Alex Med center is organizing the 8^th annual memorial ceremony for the passing of the Lebanese poet, Jawdat R. Haydar and the 2nd International Conference on “The Poetics of Imagination: Genre Dialectics in Haydar’s Poetry”. The conference will host scholars from Egypt and other countries to discuss specific literary topics, such as the use of the lyric, the visual imagination, the elegiac imagination, and the perception of time and space.
