Grant Agreement with Carnegie Corporation of New York

Alexandria—The Carnegie Corporation of New York is granting the BA one million U.S. dollars for the purpose of reissuing modernist publications from Muslim societies. The grant agreement was recently signed by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, and Professor Vartan Gregorian, President of Carnegie Corporation of New York.

Carnegie Corporation of New York is a U.S philanthropic trust created by Andrew Carnegie in 1911. Its mission is to promote the advancement and diffusion of knowledge and understanding through its two major concerns: international peace and advancing education and knowledge.
