The BA Hosts the Presidential Initiative to Support Women's Health

As part of the cooperation between the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Hayah Karima Foundation, and on the sidelines of the program “STARS: Steps Towards Achieving Real Success”, the BA Women Studies and Social Transformation Program hosted the Presidential Initiative to Support Women's Health, on Saturday, 19 October 2024.
The initiative included a series of activities, during which an educational seminar was held with the aim of creating conscious ambassadors among the graduates of the "STARS" program.
From 17 to 19 October 2024, the BA received a Women's Health van at its plaza for free medical examination for women and girls over the age of 18.
The BA building was also illuminated in pink in solidarity with breast cancer fighters.
