The BA Launches the 16-Day Campaign to Combat Violence against Women

The BA Women Studies and Social Transformation Program is organizing a number of different activities and events as part of the 16-Day campaign to combat violence against women, during the period from 25 November to 10 December 2024.
The events started with a seminar entitled "Women and Cyber Violence" on Thursday, 28 November 2024.
The Women Studies Program will continue the campaign's activities with a theatrical performance on Sunday, 8 December 2024, at the BACC Small Theater. The show will address the different forms of violence to which women are subjected. It is presented by Maseer theater troupe, written by Marwa El-Shater, and directed by Mohamed El-Nubi.
In collaboration with UN Women, the Program will conclude its activities with the lighting of the entire BA building in orange on 8 December 2024, in solidarity with women fighting different forms of violence and oppression.
