The Bibliotheca Alexandrina concluded the third phase of Malaz Project 2024, which featured the final competition and the announcement of the three best projects submitted by refugee participants. The event was organized by the BA Women Studies and Social Transformation Program and the Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program, in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The ceremony witnessed the participation of Decent Life Foundation as an inspiring success story of an organization that provides various forms of support to all those eligible. It included a fair that displayed the products manufactured by the refugee trainees during the training workshops.

It is worth noting that Malaz Projects aims to develop refugees' professional and technical skills to help them meet the needs of the local labor market, thus contributing to improving their living conditions and providing them with opportunities to establish small businesses and learn how to manage them.
