The BA Celebrates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2024

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities for the year 2024. The event was organized by the Village of Hope Association for Development and Social Rehabilitation of the Disabled, as part of His Excellency the President of the Republic’s "New Beginning" initiative, and under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, Alexandria Governorate, and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities.
The celebration witnessed the screening of a documentary film highlighting the achievements of the Village of Hope Association over the past 25 years, and featured an operetta and a musical performance. It also honored the theatrical team and distributed certificates of appreciation to the attendees.
