The BA Concludes the First International Conference on Interdisciplinary Sciences

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina concluded the First International Conference on Interdisciplinary Sciences entitled “Towards a New Scientific Horizon: Dynamics of Interdisciplinary Convergence of Sciences in the Future.” The conference, which was organized by the BA Academic Research Sector on 8 and 9 April 2025, witnessed the participation of professors of medicine, philosophy, engineering, and sociology, as well as botanists and archaeologists.
The conference was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the executive supervision of Dr. Marwa El-Wakil, Head of the Library’s Academic Research Sector.
42 participants attended the conference, including 34 Egyptians and 8 Arabs and foreigners.
44 research abstracts were presented as part of the conference.
