A Cooperation Agreement between the BA and Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation

Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and H.E. Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, have signed a cooperation protocol between both entities.
Prof. Zayed said that the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is open to fruitful cooperation and pioneering initiatives that promote knowledge and culture in the Arab world. He pointed out that this memorandum represents a qualitative step towards strengthening institutional cooperation in the fields of research and knowledge, and that it reflects the importance of partnerships that are based on a shared vision of serving humanity and developing societies.
He also added that the two sides have held several meetings to develop a clear vision and preliminary implementation plan to activate various aspects of cooperation, most notably the projects that serve people with special needs.
Following the signing ceremony, both sides exchanged gifts, after which the Emirati delegation took a tour of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
