Chilean writer Luis Sepulveda visits the Bibliotheca Alexandrina

The Chilean writer, Mr. Luis Sepulveda, will pay a special visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina on Wednesday 30/01/2002, accompanied by Mr. Antonio Jill, Director of “Cervantes” (The Spanish Cultural Center in Egypt), the visit will focus on recognizing the role of the Library as an international cultural project.
Mr. Sepulveda, who is known to have written numerous stories, novels, soap operas, theater plays and cinema scripts, has published his first works when he was only twenty years old.
Mr. Sepulveda received the Inares Citadel City Award on his book entitled “Travel Diaries” in 1986. Then in 1989, he published his book titled “An Old Man Reading Love Stories” and received the Spanish Tigry Juan Award for this book. He also received many international awards for many of his works.
