Machine Readable Cataloging “MARC 21”

As part of the International Librarianship Training Program, the BA Educational Services Section is organizing a course titled “Machine Readable Cataloging “MARC 21” Part 1”. The Course includes an introduction to the rules of “MARC 21” and in-depth explanations of all its basic fields, subfields, and indicators. In addition to that, the Course includes detailed information on how to create bibliographic records using “MARC 21”.
This Course will be delivered by BA specialists. The first level of this course will be held from Sunday, 25 October until Thursday, 29 October 2015. Registration for the course and payment of its fees are carried out outline. Registration for the first level began on Tuesday, 29 September 2015 through the International Librarianship Training Program website and will remain open until Thursday, 22 October 2015.
The second level of the course will be held from Sunday, 8 November until Thursday, November 2015. Registration for the second level began on Tuesday, 29 September 2015 through the International Librarianship Training Program website and will remain open until Thursday, 5 November 2015. Attending the first level of the course is prerequisite for registering in the second level.
