The BA and Hayah Karima Foundation Celebrate International Youth Day 2024

Hayah Karima Foundation, in cooperation with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, announced their joint cooperation on the Agile Youth initiative to build the capacities of young people and develop their skills as leaders of change in the future. The initiative comprises several programs such as the Agile Youth Camp, which aims to provide a comprehensive training package covering numerous topics, including technological innovation, leadership, effective communication, and other necessary topics offering young people the skills and tools that can help them face today’s challenges with innovative solutions.

The initiative was announced during the International Youth Day celebration, which witnessed the attendance of Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina; Ms. Marwa Fakhry, Executive Director of Hayah Karima Foundation; Dr. Ahmed El Khatib, Deputy ICT Minister for Institutional Development Affairs at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology; Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Said, Governor of Alexandria; and Dr. Jacqueline Azer, Governor of Beheira.

As part of this cooperation, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Hayah Karima Foundation are launching a comprehensive training program entitled STARS: Steps Towards Achieving Real Success. The program targets young university and pre-university students, and aims to build the capacities of a conscious youth who possess the ability to generate new and innovative ideas to achieve positive societal change that is in line with the demands of the times. The STARS program features a series of lectures and workshops that are aimed at educating young people and developing their skills.
