The Bibliotheca Alexandrina has hosted Egyptian writer Mohamed Samir Nada, winner of the 2025 International Prize for Arabic Fiction, in a seminar entitled “Awards and Creators” as part of the 20th edition of the Library’s International Book Fair. The event was moderated by writer Mounir Otaiba, Director of the BA Narrative Review.
The meeting featured an open discussion of the novel The Prayer of Anxiety, which impressed the jury with its bold treatment of the concept of Arab existential anxiety in an innovative context.
