A Cooperation Protocol between the BA and the Egyptian Writers Union’s General Syndicate

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Dr. Alaa Abdel Hady, President of the General Syndicate of the Egyptian Writers Union, signed a cooperation protocol between both entities.
Dr. Zayed said that the General Syndicate of the Egyptian Writers Union is one of the cultural institutions that has played a major role in Egypt's cultural history, expressing his hope that the cooperation will lead to more joint Arab work with the contribution of thinkers and intellectuals from the Arab community.
For his part, Dr. Alaa Abdel Hady stated that he was looking forward to the cooperation between the various sectors of the Library and the Union with its thinkers and creators, and to the activation of this agreement through the organization of cultural events, the exchange of publications, and joint publishing.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Ahmed Zayed and Dr. Alaa Abdel Hady exchanged publications and gifts.
