BA Book Fair to Host King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies

The BA International Book Fair, which is organized in cooperation with the Egyptian Publishers Association, will host the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies during the 2015 fair, which will begin on 26 March and end on 8 April 2015.
The center aims to support and develop studies and research to spread King Faisal’s vision and to expand the horizon of knowledge concerning issues related to Islamic studies, political sociology, and inheritance laws through their different research units that include researchers from different fields who can contribute to the building and expanding knowledge.
King Faisal Center, which was founded in the eighties, has presented many research projects, exhibitions, publications, and activities in Saudi Arabia and around the world which have made it a distinguished scientific center for Arab and Islamic culture. This in turn encouraged the BA to establish a partnership with the center, starting with an exchange of publications. Also, a discussion is now underway concerning the expansion of the partnership to include activities and research programs between the two parties, especially after the establishment of the Islamic Civilization Center at the BA.
