Strums of the guitar in the Spanish Guitar Week

Alexandria, 10 March 2005—The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) Arts Center is organizing the Spanish Guitar Week, 12–19 March 2005, in cooperation with Instituto Cervantes.
The first day, 12 March, will witness guitar performances by soloists from Peru and Venezuela. On the second day, 13 March, musicians from Colombia and Uruguay will be playing, followed by musicians from Brazil and Chile on 14 March. Tuesday, 15 March will feature soloists from Cuba and Spain. While on 17 March, soloists from Argentina and Mexico will be performing. The Finale Gala will be on 19 March with all the Spanish Guitar Week’s musicians participating.
The concerts begin at 8:00 pm in the Middle Hall of the BA Conference Center.
